WALLS and WINDOWS- A Spiritual Travelogue.

Over the recent past the meaning of walls and windows has evolved, and now it doesn't only represent the archetectural structures but also applied to metaphysical aspects of our existance and builidngs. In the poetic sense, windows are a place to brige boundaries between two different spaces, 'eyes are a window to the soul'. Windows of opportunity show the turning points in this sheet of time, whereby one can change the course of journey. 

In the modern computer age, walls make up the facade of the personality. They are not only for distinction and protection, but also for decoration and expression. Everything is presented to us through a window, be it on a computer screen, or mobile phone or tv or billboards.

Spirituality is a an ascention inwards that is closely associated with the outward journey, and together they influence each other. In one of my short poemettes, I wrote:

Theres a path ahead

theres a path inisde,

and both of them

are intertwined.

The exhibition "walls and windows-a spiritual travelogue' is the coming together of these three variables in my life. It is the nexus where these three dimensions meet, much like the point on a graph where the x,y and z axes intersect.
